Why settle for conventional?

Conventional designs are perfect for conventional applications. However, we all know that no dock is perfect and application criteria, as well as, usage varies greatly, per the following;

1. Facility conditions vary widely.
2. Materials handling operations vary widely.
3. Over-the-road equipment, requirements vary widely.

I-beams offer greater deck support over conventional formed beams and channel designs. Blue Giant "A" Series aggressive usage dock levelers provide superior load distribution, and are designed to combat the constant daily dynamic forces that can create havoc with your loading dock leveler.

+ I-Beam flange provides more load distribution contact area
at key loading points
+ I-Beam flange provides the greatest deck support by
increasing deck thickness at impact points
+ Spacing between beams is kept to a minimum and increases
the rigidity of the deck
+ I-Beam has the highest section modulus, compared to formed
beams and "C" channel beams.
+ I-Beam has the least twisting action when loaded with
shear force

The "A" Series dock leveler has at a minimum of six (6) I-beam support the deck of the dock leveler at dynamic impact points and eight (8) I-beam supports on higher capacity units.
