The L-Pad construction solves the dilemma of providing a good seal versus providing good access. Blue Giant’s L-Pad model
offers the sealing capability of a compression seal with the versatility of a truck shelter – while at the same time eliminating
any pressure on the building wall and providing complete access to the trailer. Designed for door openings 10’ x 10’ or smaller.

Options
- Rain Trough: Fits across the front edge of canopy header to deflect rain water to the sides of truck and door opening.
- Wear Pleats: extra fabric flaps can be sewn to the front of the side pads and head pads or curtain to
provide added durability and to extend the life of the seal. Recommended for heavy dock traffic.
- Wear Face: extra layer of fabric sewn directly onto heavy wear areas – front of side pads, inside the wedge area or across
the head pad face. Recommended for heavy dock traffic.
- Fixed-lip: Stops the flow of air by filling the gap left by swing-type trailer doors.
Note: L-pad must have 14'0" clearance from bottom of header to ground.
