Account Manager - Sales (BG Solutions)

Three positions available.

Develop new business with both existing and new accounts through relationship selling techniques.  Maximize revenue and margins by selling a wide range of solutions to our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Regular Weekly prospecting to meet both existing and new accounts and promote our products and services using consultative selling approach. 
  • Promote and sell Blue Giant Solutions offering of Loading Dock, Overhead Doors, High Speed Doors, Industrial Trucks, Aftermarket Accessory, and other products and services as may be adopted by Blue Giant Solutions.
  • Promote and sell Service Planned Maintenance Agreements including renewal to both new and existing customer in designated territory.
  • Follow up on leads and inquiries from all avenues – e.g. marketing, corporate Nation Care, service requests  in a timely manner.  Provide status updates with planned next steps.
  • Attend all required and relevant (as determined by Management) training sessions, coaching sessions and meetings.
  • Abide by all relevant procedures and scheduling / recording of daily activities as prescribed by Management including Microsoft outlook calendar and /or Customer Relationship Management (CRM-Salesforce). 
  • Complete all required paperwork for Quotation submission, review, approval and logging.
  • Follow up on all quotations, updating and submitting updates to Sales Funnel / Activity (Project/Quote tracking list) to Management on a weekly basis.
  • Complete and forward all Order processing paperwork (Application Surveys (where required), Sales orders; Work orders; Shop Drawings, Scope of Work, and other documents as may be prescribed by management due to product nature or to reduce errors.)
  • Follow up with customer after sale – Orientation training  and sign off with customer to ensure satisfaction; explain and complete warranty registration with customer.
  • Constant communication, both verbal and written, with all internal and external customers.
  • Represent Blue Giant / Blue Giant Solutions and manufacturer’s products in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work with other accounts managers and Nation Care to maximize opportunities and ensure proper communication to facilitate and promote account penetration.
  • Responsible for completion of all training standards to ensure current product knowledge, industry trends and strong selling skills.
  • Other duties as required.
Requirements
  • Possess a minimum Grade 12 High School diploma
  • University or College degree preferred
  • Must have 3+ years experience in industrial sales and prospecting an asset
  • Excellent presentation, communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organization, planning and administrative skills
  • Strong time management skills
  • Superior customer relationship skills
  • Strong command of the English language
  • Must possess a clean driving record and a valid driver’s license
  • Must be PC literate with above average knowledge and proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint
  • Knowledge of trades (welding, construction, electrical) is an asset
